EMBA Ministers' Conference


The EMBA Ministers’ Conference is held every year in February for three days (two nights), typically Wednesday afternoon through to Friday lunchtime. All EMBA ministers are welcome to attend the Ministers’ Conference, including students, retirees and chaplains.

Keynote Speaker

Kate is the Founding Director of Next Leadership.  She has 35 years of leadership experience in the church, charity, voluntary and business sectors, and is a mentor and coach to leaders from diverse sectors, backgrounds and communities.  Kate was the first black woman Baptist minster in the UK and has been recognised as one of the 20 most influential Christian women leaders in the country.


She is a certified Stakeholder Centred Coach and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA).  In 2021 Kate was recognised as one of the top 25 Women Racial Justice Champions in Britain and Ireland.
